Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
On the Cape Peninsular route you can expect to see and visit popular attractions such as Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, the Muizenburg shark lookout point located along Boys Drive offering some breathtaking views from above the local coastal towns Kalk Bay, St James, Fish Hoek
Simon's town & Boulders Beach
A bit further along the Indian ocean before reaching the Cape Point nature reserve you will pass threw another two more coastal towns, Fish Hoek and Simon's town harbour. Simons Town has a beautiful harbour and is home to the famous Boulders Beach African Penguin colony and if your interested in a quick and refreshing dip to cool off in the hot summer months theres Fish Hoek along the way.
Cape Point Nature reserve
From Simon's town one has to take another 15 - 20 minute drive before arriving at the entrance to the Cape Point nature reserve. A fee is payable at the gate for entering the nature reserve. Once you have entered it's another 10 minute drive on a tarred road leading to the Flying Dutchman Funicular
Chapman's Peak drive
After spending 1 - 2 hours on average at Cape Point you will depart back to your hotel via Chapman's peak drive along the Atlantic sea for some more breath taking views of the mountain and the Atlantic sea
Signal Hill
If time allows a quick stop at Signal hill to watch the sun go down over Table Mountain is a perfect way to end you day.
